2005 Clos de Ste Anne Pinot Noir Magnum 1.5L


Hand harvested fruit was chilled over night, sorted and fermented with native yeasts in individual wooden cuves for a total of 28 days. Aged in special Burgundian barrels for 12 months, bottled using the finest natural cork and aged before release.
"The scents are pure pinot - sweet and floral. The palate offers red and black berry fruit flavours, zesty acids and sweet earthy hints. Delicate and fine yet also firm and grounded. A pinot of real class. The Millton's have re-drawn New Zealand's Pinot Noir map."
Magnums are available as single bottles. Due to the slower ageing of wine in magnums this wine should cellar well for up to 10 years. It is drinking superbly at present. A fabulous gift for the Pinot Noir connoisseur.
