Labour Weekend is the highlight for many in Gisborne’s social calendar – a great chance to celebrate the superb wines that come from this region. Here at The Millton Vineyard, we have many exciting events planned, here’s a taste of what’s to come…

Friday 22nd October

We thrive on the opportunity to share with anyone who comes through the gate, a little of the passion that drives us to make our wines in the style that we do, start your Labour Weekend off on the right note with a visit to our Cellar Door, open 10-5pm.

 

 

Saturday 23rd October

Celebrate our spring releases - bring a picnic (or save yourself the hassle and order one from us), relax with friends and enjoy the live music – the perfect way to spend your Saturday!

  

EN PRIMEUR TASTING AND LUNCH

Also on Saturday, a rare opportunity to preview the 2009 Clos de Ste Anne family of wines while enjoying a long leisurely lunch in our Vineyard’s beautiful garden setting. More information on this preview tasting will be available soon.

Sunday 24th October

THE GISBORNE WINE & FOOD FESTIVAL

With a spectacular new venue, a completely new format, and lots more to taste, see and experience, this years Gisborne Wine & Food Festival is not to missed.

The region’s very best wine and food will be showcased in a stunning vineyard setting beside the historic Gray's Bush Scenic Reserve.  Hollie Smith, The Black Seeds and Sola Rosa will perform throughout the day and celebrity guest chefs Simon Gault and Al Brown will be hosting exclusive wine and food workshops.

Already strong sales indicate this is bound to be a sell out, buy your ticket now to ensure you don’t miss out!

Monday 25th October

Our cellar door is open from 10-5pm again today, the perfect opportunity to grab a few bottles of your favourite vintage as you head home after an amazing weekend!
